Christmas Fills Spain With Merry and SMS

Every Spaniard sends average 33 SMS to wish his friends and relatives Merry Christmas. In Spain this is the most widespread way of congratulating a close person with a holiday.

Such results were obtained after the questioning that was carried out on a Spanish mobile portal. By the results of the research, in the course of which 1254 people were interrogated, SMS has become the favorite way of congratulating on the holiday. 24, 8% of the respondents preferred this method to traditional Christmas cards (11,2) and usual telephone calls(15,6%).

The leading Spanish telephone companies have surmised that during the night between the 31st of December and the 1st of January more than 200 million SMS will be running in the network.

Actually, this modern tendency of losing the good-old-fashioned traditions is a real horror. Well, the postcards - is quite a time-taking thing - you should go and get some of those - spend time to take the choice - and after that - fill out those with some text (better self-written of course), put them all in separate envelopes and send them out - go to the post - that seems to be a normal way - and yes - it takes time, but...

Imagine how much pleasure would a real postcard bring to those people that think with tenderness about you. And believe me, the smile on their faces is worth it. So if you are not completely eaten by this informational technological monstrous senseless world - go and get some postcards... even if the Christmas is already gone... And just send your smile, just a short "Hi" to those people that would love it.
